ABSOLUTES
PRODUCTS LIST
100% PURE AND NATURAL ABSOLUTES. OBTAINED BY WASHING THE PLANTS IN HEXANE OR ALCOHOL. COMMONLY USED IN PERFUMERY AND COSMETICS.
With a fine and intense aroma, the absolute is extracted by washing the plants in hexane or alcohol.
Absolutes are obtained from very fragile plants that cannot undergo the usual process of distillation, with heat in an alembic, from which the essential oil is obtained, so the flower is macerated in certain solvents that are later eliminated through distillation to finally obtain the absolute. This is another different method to obtain the aromatic principle of the plant, which is known as "extraction".
This extraction is done by washing the aromatic material of the plant with hexane or alcohol to obtain its aromatic principle.
The result is an absolute with an extremely fine, intense and rounded aroma, ideal for use as a perfume or in essence diffusers.
The differences with respect to essential oils subjected to the heat of distillation and biochemical transformation are mainly that, in the absolute, its aroma is more intense and immediate than those of conventional essential oils and that its use is essentially odoriferous, as opposed to the nourishing and moisturising properties in the areas of application of essential oils.
