SEEDS, SCRUBS, DRIED PLANTS AND ALGAE
Seeds, scrubs, dried plants and algae are natural ingredients valued in both cosmetics and food for their multiple benefits. In cosmetics, seeds, such as chia or grape seeds, and natural exfoliants, such as crushed peels, are used to exfoliate and nourish the skin, promoting skin renewal. Dried plants, such as chamomile and calendula, provide soothing and regenerating properties, while algae, such as seaweed, moisturise and detoxify, and are common in masks and anti-ageing products. In food, the seeds provide essential nutrients such as protein and fibre, while the algae, rich in minerals, are incorporated into salads, soups and supplements. Dried plants are used as infusions or condiments. These ingredients offer healthy and sustainable solutions in both sectors.
